Hello, I am Carmen, a DONA certified birth and postpartum doula through San Francisco Zuckerberg General Hospital. I am also a Licensed Vocational Nurse (last worked in a hospital in 2012) and a massage therapist (pregnancy, postpartum and Swedish massage).
I was working as a nurse at Zuckerberg General Hospital in the women’s clinic and realized how much I enjoy supporting women. I had the opportunity to complete a doula course and volunteering for four years there as a doula in labor and delivery.
Being a doula has been a very rewarding experience since I love supporting families by welcoming and caring for their babies. With over a decade of excellence and experience as a doula, I look forward to helping you throughout this journey.
Languages spoken: Since I was raised in Barcelona, Spain, I am fluent in Spanish, Catalan and French as well my primary language: English.
