The Pear Tree Community School is a social justice-informed Montessori elementary school. Our students use projects to engage in design theory, to problem pose and problem solve. Students interact with hands-on materials to deepen critical thinking, literacy, and high level math skills. Through mixed ages classrooms students explore an intentional social emotional curriculum to help deepen relationships with themselves, peers, and the larger community.
