Shih Yu-Lang Central YMCA offers a comprehensive after-school program with structured homework assistance and fun enrichment activities including art, science, and gardening days. Juniors also get the chance to be involved in our culinary program twice a week by cooking and serving dinner for the rest of the students in the program and their families. Dinner is provided and prepared by members in the teen program. We partner with San Francisco City Academy and Tenderloin Community School to serve their students from the neighborhood. Students in the Junior Program return to us year after year, school year and summer, because they say that the YMCA and Boeddeker Park feel like home.
