Family run bakery founded by Tara (our co-owner and head cake designer). Originally, Tara brought her sweet dream to life in 2005 as "Tara's Piece of Cake” (Pacifica). In 2015, she then opened Bay Area Cake Queens (San Carlos) & in 2019, Tara opened The Cake Queen & Coffee Bar (South San Francisco).

What sets us apart from other Bakeries?
For one thing, Tara designs all of our unique 3-D cakes, and each is one of a kind! How many times have you seen a cake that’s decorated to look like a tomahawk steak & baked potato? All of our recipes are created in house. Tara’s expertise with her desserts sets us apart from all others in the area.
